Sharing cyber threat intelligence just got a lot easier with STIX 2.0 and TAXII 2.0.

FS-ISAC, NH-ISAC, and OASIS present this half-day, pre-conference workshop, specifically designed to provide ISAC members with need-to-know information on the next generation of the automated threat intelligence sharing standards.

Richard StruseChief Strategist for Cyber Threat Intelligence for The MITRE Corporation and chair of the OASIS CTI Technical Committee, will provide a special briefing for ISAC members. He'll cover the history of the standards, what they do, changes in 2.0, what's next, etc.

Following the briefing, Jim Routh, CSO at Aetna and Board member for FS-ISAC and NH-ISAC, will facilitate an open discussion where ISAC members will talk candidly about their experiences with STIX and TAXII, describe their pain points, and provide feedback on the new features in 2.0.

Workshop participants will learn:

  • how STIX and TAXII have evolved
  • why the standards were migrated from XML to JSON
  • how the 2.0 standards differ from the 1.x versions
  • what ISAC members can expect now and in the future

ISAC members will have the opportunity to talk candidly about their experiences and provide feedback to help influence the future development of the specifications.

This workshop is offered to members of the FS-ISAC and NH-ISAC organizations and others who are registered for Borderless Cyber. There is no additional cost to attend. Reserve your space when you register for the conference or contact events@oasis-open.org for details.
